The Electric Samurai is an opinion website based out of the Kingdom of Dragonspine. It's purpose is to fill a void in Amtgard -- the lack of a discussion magazine. Sure, we have that Amtgard Combat thing, but the masses crave something more. They crave the Electric Samurai. For them, we'll have regular articles and featured Amtgarders, guest submissions and critical reviews of the club. We'll bring you the hardest-hitting news -- whatever we think is important -- and we'll bring it to you all in one place. We'll tell you what to think and when to think it. We will also have fun. This is Amtgard, after all. So who does what around here? Randall is the coder, editor, and webmaster. Phywren is a staff writer, contributing editor, forums guy and graphic designer. Together we are Wyld Sta... ehm, yes. Phywren is retired, though, which makes Randall the main lunatic. Can I write for you? Yes. We do accept guest columns, letters to the editor, or whatever you want to call a submission. We're also much more likely to accept what you send us if you check it for spelling, punctuation, and anthrax. The link to submit articles is here: Write an article! If we really like ya, and you're a good, prolific, interesting writer, we might make you a staff writer. Maybe. What should I write about? Anything related to Amtgard. Politics, fighting, garbing, weapons, jugging, the rules, whatever. We're not picky. What the hell are those crazy crowns and shoes next to the articles? They show what the article is about. The article is about shoes? Nope. Crowns are about Amtgard government. Duct tape means construction. A sewing machine is for garbing, books are for the rules. Hmm. Swords are for fighting... dice are for roleplaying. Oh, and the shoe. The shoe is miscellaneous. Why are you so mean? You deserve it. Why "Electric Samurai?" It would've made an awful company name.
