Mystic Seas Update
[12/16/2002] [News]E-Samurai sources in the Mystic Seas say the Barony of Inland Ocean voted to leave the Mystic Seas after the kingdom proper rejected contract negotiations without comment. The Duchy of Shrouding Mists has also voted to leave, although their secession is reportedly contingent on the Barony of Greenwood Keep also leaving. Greenwood Keep, after an hour and a half of discussion, voted to stay part of the Mystic Seas by a vote of 12 to 16. They then voted unanimously to support the formation of a confederacy. The Shire of Northern Forest and the Duchy of Storm Haven are also behind the confederation effort. Furthermore, Sir Duncan (knighted at Pac War IV by King Lukor) was elected as the confederation representative for Greenwood Keep. The kingdom proper, which has blamed the secession movement on a few angry individuals, did not discuss the issue at their recent MSBOD meeting. King Lukor did say that he felt it was improper to discuss reforming the Mystic Seas until after all parks decide whether they are part of the kingdom, and has expressed his desire to help break-away lands find sponsorship with other kingdoms.
