Goldenvale Crisis Resolved
[02/05/2003] [News]As you all know, there has been much controversy about the way that the selection process for my officers within the past couple of days. Some people have made this issue a personal matter as opposed to a rules issue, which it actually is. My intent was to choose the best person qualified as my Regent, and I felt that person was Dame Willow. Certain things have been brought to my attention, and in light of this information, I am forced into changing my decision on the matter. I now know that Dame Willow needs to be Champion. I hope that this outcome pleases you all. It hurts me to know that some people thought I did this out of spite, or on a personal level. I feel that I am a bigger man than that, and I would never use Amtgard as a weapon against another person. As a squire, I have been taught by my knight that my actions reflect the man that I am. I feel that my actions reflected my good intentions toward the kingdom. If another conflict within the kingdom arises I will look at the situation from every aspect and then make the best possible decision. Please remember that we are all human...
