Nine Kingdoms for 7th Edition?
[01/10/2005] [News]It is not yet official, but news from the Kingdom of Goldenvale suggests that King Balthazar may vote yes on 7.0: | 7.0 - Rules of Play King Sir Balthizar asked the populace for our opinion upon the set of rules. It was brought to them that the format of the book is most likely to change but the rules themselves would remain in place aside from a few that are being worked upon at the moment for clarity. The populace voted that the new rule set was good. It is still however up to King Sir Balthizar to make a final decision upon this matter and post his vote (as well as mail,) to the Amtgard Inc List. | Furthermore, it has been posted in these forums that the Kingdom of the Wetlands held an Althing in which it voted almost unanimously in favor of the 7.0 rulebook. King Micah has not yet cast his vote in the Circle of Monarchs. If both these kings vote yes, then nine kingdoms will have voted in favor of 7.0 and one will have voted against it. Since the Burning Lands cast a conditional vote, stating that they support 7.0 pending certain revisions, Amtgard may have to wait until a tenth kingdom votes in favor of the rulebook. Once that happens, all it will take is a round of certified mail to make the vote truly official. The Kingdom of Dragonspine is scheduled to vote on 7.0 on January 15th. The Celestial Kingdom has also not voted.
