Rising Winds Keeps Kizmit, Rigor

Greetings all,
A quick note on the results of the most important item on Althing - namely the motion to call for a vote of 'no confidence' on Queen Kizmit and Champion Rigor and publicly ask them to step down from office. All interested parties had ample opportunity and time to debate and state their reasoning and thoughts to the issue at hand. I'd like to thank all in attendance for an overall reasonably controlled, and polite, discussion.
After much conversation and voting that lasted well past sundown, Queen Kizmit and Champion Rigor will remain in office and in service to the Rising Winds. The 'no confidence' motions were defeated. This issue was brought forth, addressed, and handled per our rules and bylaws and as such is now old business. I strongly encourage everyone to now focus ahead on the summer of '05 for the Rising Winds, and how each of us can assist in ensuring a successful Olympiad and summer term.
Show the strength and skill and dedication I know we have still - that is the best way to demonstrate the passion we all have for this Kingdom.
During the Althing several other items arose in relation to this that will more than likely appear on future Althing agendas, including voting rosters and eliminating double jeopardy situations for sitting officers. Please take the time to review these motions as carefully as you did this past issue and vote as to what you think will most benefit the Kingdom as a whole. That is the essence of true service.
